We are a drop-in centre for the over-60’s run by volunteers. We encourage older people in our community to drop in at the club. New members to the club are welcome and we make them feel at home and at ease.

The first visit to the club is free and thereafter, there is a fee of £5 per session, after which they automatically become members.

New members are required to fill in a form with their personal details, which is required by law. The information is confidential and will remain so. We celebrate birthdays, with special emphasis on the 0’s, for example 70, 80, 90 and 100. If anyone is uncomfortable with celebrating their birthday, they should inform a member of the committe.

The club has 9 friendly volunteers running the club each week. As we grow in numbers more help is needed to cover when volunteers are on holidays, sickness etc.

Suggestion Box

Any suggestions you may have would be most welcomed with regard to activities, talks on particular subjects and visits etc. Bear in mind that some people are less able-bodied than others and must be taken into account.
